After a long career as an educator, I wanted to create a company that does “business in a good way” and operates with trust, integrity, ethics, and a commitment to relationship-based economic reciprocity.

I wanted to build a business to be used as a force for good for the planet and people, provide equitable economic opportunities for marginalized groups, and accelerate gender equity. Leaving a positive impact on the world for my children, students and future generations.

With the help of our flock, I have created GreenBirdi, a Canadian e-commerce lifestyle company and marketplace committed to advancing the economic opportunities and well-being of women, Indigenous peoples, and other marginalized groups across Canada.

GreenBirdi will take flight this fall, and we have been sourcing eco-friendly products that meet our rigorous proprietary CARES GreenBirdi certification, which goes beyond traditional ESG by placing cultural understanding and reconciliation at its core.
